Many people regularly enquire about hiring our space for private events. Unfortunately we are unable to directly deal with these enquiries as we are only responsible for the space during our opening hours. Therefore the first port of call if you are interested in booking the space outside of our opening times (or indeed any of the great spaces in the Methodist Church's building) then please first head to their website to enquire or to find out more: https://stjamesroad.co.uk/room-hire/

If you are keen to use our cafe space specifically, then please first enquire with the church and then also fill in our contact form below, and let us know what you are looking for, and we will be so happy to look at what we can do for you, and send over a quote for your consideration. ROOM BOOKING CATERING
We are pleased to offer catering packages for those hiring any rooms in the building. We are able to offer catering during our usual opening hours. Outside of these hours, please still feel free to fill in an enquiry form and we will see if we are able to accommodate your request based on staffing etc.

Tea & Coffee:
Starting from £2.50 per person for a minimum of 6 people max of 30
- Bottomless tea and speciality filter coffee, set up in the room of your choice
- Dairy & plant based milk supplied
Sandwich Platters:
Starting from £6 per person for a minimum of 6 people and max of 30 (for bookings over 30 please get in touch to discuss)
- selection of vegetarian and meat filled sandwiches
- can cater for vegan and gluten free diets too
- made fresh for your event

Starting from £4 per person for a minimum of 6 people and max of 30
- selection of cakes, and we are able to cater for GF and vegan diets too
- fresh fruit platters
