Full Job Description
Make & Brew is a thriving and well-established coffee shop and creative space with a strong community ethos at its heart. Based in Upper Shirley in Southampton and having outgrown our first premise, we are expanding into a beautiful, new cafe space and are looking to grow our team!
We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic food preparation manager to oversee our menu and manage the running of food service on a day to day basis.
Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing and taking responsibility for ordering and stock management

Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
-
Prepare all food items directed in a sanitary and timely manner

Follow recipes and presentation specifications

Maintain a clean working station

Assist with cleaning of kitchen equipment
-
Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards (including extra procedures and routines in light of government guidance and advice)

Influencing and overseeing menu additions and changes
Additional Duties

Recording food temperatures

Efficient date checking and stock rotation
